Usually, I'm not really a fan of LDD creations [Lego digital designer], even if I do not question the creativity of certain virtual OMCs.

Graaf Pieter alias Hollander offers a truly successful virtual version of the Y-Wing. Composed of more than 1500 parts, the machine is very detailed and Hollander admits spending nearly 12 hours there.
Either way, here's a great example of using LEGO 3D modeling software that you can take inspiration from if you feel like it. Personally, I have never managed to produce much under LDD ....
