Compare before you buy your LEGO

lego eurobricks nimportnawak

Today's buzz comes from Brickset writes that in June 2012 LEGO registered two new trademarks: Legends of Chima et Speedorz.

All that was needed was for speculation on possible future ranges to be launched with great fanfare on Eurobricks and others ... New ranges? New board games? These trade names fuel all fantasies and the discussion sometimes takes a little ridiculous turn ...

It should be noted that many brands have registered trade names in buckets over the years, names which are not, however, all of them to be used on a large scale or on flagship product ranges. Some are filed in advance so as not to be I doublé by a competitor who would have heard of projects in progress, others are for one-off commercial operations, etc.

Whatever you read about it these days, remember that these are only extrapolations from very imaginative AFOLs, and that there is no confirmation at this time that these two terms will relate to future ranges of the maker. We will have to wait for LEGO to reveal to us what these names are really linked to to find out more ...

And frankly, Speedorz is a bit ridiculous as a name for the range ... No?

"Tell dad, can you buy me a Speedorz?"
