Another slightly crappy title, I know .... But when it comes to exposing a Millennium Falcon UCS (10179), the problem is huge (!). In addition to the obviously necessary space, it is also necessary to find a position which allows to admire at best the innumerable details of this set which has become legendary.
etcknight had already suggested mounting it on the wall ( see this article ) using a TV bracket, and BobBongo1895 now offers a less acrobatic but ultimately more precise way to position the device: a bracket specifically designed to hold the Millennium Falcon at approximately a 45° angle. This clever idea allows you to display it on a high shelf while still being able to admire it.
As a side note, BobBongo1895 had undertaken to rebuild a Millennium Falcon by purchasing all the parts on BrickLink ( see the dedicated thread ). Many members of the Brickpirate forum also did the same ( see this dedicated thread ).
