LEGO today unveils the set 10276 Colosseum (The Coliseum), a very large box of 9036 pieces which allows you to reproduce the famous Roman monument for the modest sum of 499.99 €. This is not a "historical" representation of the Colosseum, the LEGO version reproduces what remains of the amphitheater today with the interior wall visible on a large half of the monument and the piece of floor added in the 90s which partially covers the hypogeum (the basement of the arena with its many corridors).
The manufacturer does not forget to specify in passing that this is the largest set (in number of pieces) ever marketed by the brand, a title held so far by the set. 75192 Millennium Falcon with its 7541 parts.
You will need to make room on your shelves to display this 6.70 kg model on the scale, the base which accommodates the construction measures 59x52 cm and the monument culminates at 27 cm including display stand.
The set will be marketed from November 27 on the occasion of Black Friday 2020. The members of the VIP program who acquire this box will be offered a small limited edition product: a Roman cart with its pilot and its two brick horses which could possibly be exhibited next to the construction.
We'll be talking about this big set again in a few hours on the occasion of a "Review ".
