LEGO 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus' Living Room: the planned promotional set is canceled

You've probably already seen the visual of the product circulating on the usual channels, but this promotional set will never be offered at LEGO: the LEGO reference 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus' Living Room was initially to be offered from 170 € of purchase in December on the official online store but the offer never took place and the manufacturer was content to extend the one allowing to obtain a copy of the set 40484 Santa's Front Yard under the same conditions.

LEGO officially confirms today the reasons for the cancellation of this offer, the product would not meet the brand's quality requirements:

We decided not to release this product as it didn't meet our strict quality standards. 

Because we work so hard to provide the best possible play experiences, we never compromise the quality of our products.

We will not know more, knowing that at least one copy of the product is in circulation, the one that is in the photo posted on social networks. The rough cut above using the visual currently circulating is by me.
