The operation quickly turned into a fiasco but no one was really surprised: the launch of the set 5006744 Ulysses Satellite (236 pièces) via the VIP Rewards Center took place this morning as planned but it will have generated a lot of disappointment among those who could not access the overloaded platform for long minutes. Access was then possible without hindrance later in the morning, but the obviously very limited circulation product was obviously already out of stock for a long time.

LEGO ultimately breaks down a standard press release that is sent to anyone who takes the time to complain to customer service. Nothing new, it's pure marketing language in version "damage control": The manufacturer apologizes, says listening to his fans, guarantees that what happened this morning will be examined more closely and promises to do better in the future.
