LEGO Architecture 21034 London: Tubes not as flexible as expected?

Notice to all those who bought the set LEGO Architecture London 21034 from the Serie "Skylines": A blog reader, FreemanCG, tells me about a problem encountered with this set and it would be interesting to know if others among you are more or less affected by this problem which could then possibly relate more to the design defect than the isolated incident.

As you can see in the photos below taken by the owner of the set, it would appear that over time the pressure from both pants (6178243) in Medium Blue very rigid which are connected to the two towers of the Tower Bridge causes rapid deterioration of the 1x3 arches (4618651) at the bottom of these towers.

We also notice that the two towers tend to be slightly raised under the pressure of the two blue tubes, ultimately not that flexible, and I find this phenomenon in several reviews published online including that of Brickset:

In any case, you will need to contact LEGO customer service to get damaged parts replaced.
