LEGO today unveils a novelty that had until now been reserved for certain structures and associations since its announcement in 2020: the reference 40655 Play with Braille - French Alphabet. This box of 287 pieces in five colors will be available at the public price of €89.99 from September 1st, it is currently in pre-order on the official online store.
I'm not drawing you a picture, it's about allowing visually impaired children to discover braille thanks to a set of bricks whose studs correspond to the letters and numbers in braille code. The numbers and letters concerned are also printed on these bricks so that the product can be used by everyone and these bricks are obviously compatible with the rest of the inventory available at LEGO. Braille and audio instructions will be available.
This kit will be available in two versions, French and English alphabet, and the corresponding reference is marketed in each of the countries concerned. Other languages are planned for 2024:

LEGO also announces a partnership with application Be My Eyes which connects visually impaired people with volunteers who offer them assistance.
