Revealed in June 2012, and scheduled for Nintendo 3DS and Wii-U in fall 2012, the game Lego city undercover, a kind of GTA for children developed by TT Games, is talking about him again today: I received several emails telling me that fresh images had just been released and that they revealed vehicles that will be present in the next sets from the LEGO range (City and Friends in particular). In order to answer all those who kindly wrote to me, I am putting some very real information here:
These images are not recent, neither exclusive, neither leaked nor stolen, they were already in the game's promo kit in June 2012, and they have been around the web in all directions since E3 (especially at nintendo-master.com early June).
No LEGO source confirms that the machines in the game will be reproduced in plastic form. We already know that LEGO does not convert all of the content of its video games (minifigs, machines, etc.) developed by TT Games into sets. Star Wars fans in particular know this well ...
We can however imagine that the game, if it meets the hoped-for success and nothing is less certain, will be supported by a range of physical products featuring the main characters and their vehicles. But there are too many parameters to take into account to say today that this will be the case.
In the meantime, I would like to thank all those who took the trouble to write to me, and here are again these images that we (re) talk about today:
