LEGO DUPLO Super Heroes: Is it really necessary?

LEGO presented two new DUPLO products on its stand during the Nuremberg Toy Fair: Two DUPLO sets (References 10543 Supermjan's Rescue et 10545 Batcave Adventure) intended for children aged 2 to 5 if we are to believe what is written on the boxes and which features Batman and his Batcave and Superman at the entrance of the Daily Planet ... There is also another set with Batman, a Batmobile and the Joker (LEGO Reference 10544 The Joker Challenge).

I understand that LEGO intends to recruit its customers from an early age, but I'm not sure that Batman, Catwoman and Superman deserve to end up in the hands of 2 year olds ...

I will be told that they will play with it without really knowing who these characters are. But we can bet on the fact that they will quickly get used to their visual identity and will claim their first System sets from the Super Heroes range within one or two years ...

The approach still smacks of marketing too much for me to find it reasonable.
