LEGO Ideas: 21110 Research Institute, but no Zelda ...

The results of the last phase of the LEGO Ideas review have fallen: Everything goes by the wayside (Zelda, BTTF DeLorean UCS, etc ...) except the project "Female Minifigure Set"whose review has lasted more than reason, which therefore becomes the set 21110 Research Institute and whose marketing is scheduled for August 2014 (as if by magic, the set should have been ready for a very long time ...) with a price around $ 20 ...

What to say ? Not much. LEGO undoubtedly gives us a political corrective blow with this set including three female characters with scientific profiles, just to counterbalance the takeover of idle teenage girls from the Friends range on the shelves of toy stores and to calm things down with feminist associations which began to have them regularly after the manufacturer.

Was it really necessary? I'm not sure of it.

The set will be released during the summer, it will probably go almost unnoticed, but LEGO will have solved the problem. It’s well done.
