The LEGO IDEAS concept has never been so aptly named: a first visual of the 21313 Ship in a Bottle set is currently circulating and we can see that LEGO has ultimately only kept the initial idea from from the initial project of Jake Sadovich (above).
The shape and size of the bottle change significantly, we go from a large bottle of rum to a more compact and cubic bottle of whiskey, the boat it contains is therefore summarized in a little micro-thing. coarse, the support and the cap have been largely redesigned for more opulent (and more successful) versions.
LEGO kept the idea of round pieces Trans Blue thrown at the bottom of the bottle to symbolize water and the end result is quite nice even if I don't see myself exhibiting the thing in my living room ...
