It's done: The Jurassic Park project led by Senteosan has just reached the threshold of 10.000 supporters, allowing it to move on to the second phase of the long selection and validation process in place on the LEGO IDEAS platform.
The project will now be reviewed by the LEGO team who will decide its fate: Commercialization or " vertical classification ".
This move to the next stage of a very well-crafted project raises many questions: LEGO having signed an agreement with Universal for the marketing of derivative products around the film Jurassic World, does this set have a chance of seeing the light of day in the LEGO IDEAS range? Will the 10.000 fans who supported the project be heard on their desire to see a set released in homage to the first films of the Jurassic Park license?
The message is clear, it remains to be hoped that LEGO will hear it. Answer in a few months ...
