LEGO Minifigure A Visual History New Edition: A not-so-exclusive minifig?

I just received my copy of the book titled LEGO Minifigure A Visual History New Edition accompanied by the astronaut Classic Space in orange, a minifigure presented as exclusive.
This new orange version of one of the most iconic characters in the LEGO universe completes the inventory of variants already available in other colors via the set The LEGO Movie 2 70841 Benny's Space Squad (blue, yellow, pink and white) and the set LEGO Ideas 21109 Exo Suit (green).

It should be noted that the final version of the minifig is well equipped with a helmet and a back accessory with a completely smooth surface, contrary to what the official visual of the character and the cover of the book suggested.

But this orange variant is a priori not as exclusive as expected and we can already find several copies for sale individually. on Bricklink et on eBay. Those who are currently reluctant to spend around thirty euros to afford this book and the minifigure that goes with it should know that the different pieces that make up the character were offered to the different LUGs (LEGO User Groups) LAN members (LEGO Ambassador Network) via the annual purchase of parts in volumes.

Each LUG participating in this operation was presented with a list of parts available for purchase at preferential rates and some have chosen to select the various exclusive elements so far that allow the character to be assembled. It's no secret that some sets of parts purchased through this LAN member-only service end up for sale in the secondary market, even though the conditions for participating in this offer do not allow resale of those items purchased in volume. . The supply on the secondary market is therefore likely to increase in the coming weeks, which will undoubtedly lead to a drop in prices.

It is therefore up to everyone to judge whether it is advisable to wait a little to afford a copy of this minifigure at a low cost, with very relative exclusivity or whether the content of this 250-page book which allows obtain proof of paying the price charged by the various brands. The best offer is that of Amazon UK which offers the book at £ 22.93 (25.30 €). At Amazon France, it is currently necessary to pay 30.14 € and at Book Depository (which belongs to Amazon) the displayed price is 29.90 €.
