LEGO Minifigures Online: End of (Relative) Free Game

If there are still some fans of LEGO Minifigures Online, here is an important announcement from Funcom, the publisher of this video game in which it is possible to unlock characters via the codes found on the bags of minifigs from the collectible series:

Starting this summer, the game will be paid for. Finished the model Freemium which allowed you to play for free and possibly go to the cashier to get some bonus missions and progress more quickly.

Anyone who wants to continue playing will have to purchase the game, and only those who have already spent money in the game, to purchase a subscription or buy diamond packs, will see their copy of the game transformed into a paid version at no cost.

The publisher promises many developments to accompany this change in financial model, but it smacks of last resort to try to save what still can be. In the Funcom press release, the announcements relating to the future of the game and the continuation of its development are rather vague and it will be necessary to be a little more convincing to hope to make pass to the cash register all those which played occasionally and especially for free this game.
