The LEGO Movie

While the first reviews posted online are quite complimentary of the work of Phil Lord and Chris Miller (See Variety review and The Telegraph), TheWrap announces that a second episode of The LEGO Movie franchise is already in the works.

The info comes from "two people" who are more or less in the secret of the gods and who claim that Warner asked Jared Stern, who worked in particular on Volt, star despite himself et Ralph's Worlds to write the second part of what promises to be a cinematographic saga.

No certainty, however, that Phil Lord and Chris Miller are in charge of this second opus.

Early forecasts indicate that the film, which will be released in the US on February 7 and here on February 19, should hit the mark and gross $ 40 million this weekend at the US box office, and ahead of the other films coming out at the same time. as Men Monuments by and with George Clooney with Matt Damon and Bill Murray and One Chance, a biopic about opera singer Paul Potts. These forecasters are strong ... 

Note that France Bleu Pays d'Auvergne offers to win tickets to see the film at the Cinédôme d'Aubière as well as LEGO sets via a competition which is open from February 3 to 9.
