LEGO Star Wars 75188 Resistance Bomber: Where's Finch Dallow?

As a good collector of the LEGO Star Wars range, I try to put together just about everything that comes out in this range and sometimes I come across some unusual situations.

The latest, the search for the minifig of the character of Finch Dallow (embodied in The Last Jedi by comedian Kevin Layne) who quietly replaced one of the Resistance Bomber Pilots of the set 75188 Resistance Bomber released in 2017 and 2018 (the second from the left on the original lineup visual below).

The minifig in question had been known for several months following its listing on eBay by a merchant specializing in "runaway" minifigs, but many believed it was a character planned for the 2019 assortment.

This is not the case, this minifigure was indeed delivered in the 75188 Resistance Bomber set and it also appears on some official visuals of the set, modified to take into account the change of character in this box. The instruction booklet available for download on the official LEGO website also takes into account this change in the inventory of the set.

After having announced on November 29, 2018 that the set containing this minifigure would be "unveiled soon", Kevin Layne confirmed himself on Instagram last December 13 the presence of this minifigure in the box.

It is difficult to know at this stage if this character will make a new appearance in the LEGO Star Wars range in 2019 or if this discreet modification of the contents of the set 75188 Resistance Bomber will remain the only opportunity to add this minifigure to our collections.
