LEGO today unveils the set 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City (2812 pieces - 349.99 € on the LEGO Shop) which will be available in preview from September 13 for members of the VIP program with global availability announced for October 1, 2018.
Good news, the public price of this box for France, 349.99 €, is aligned with that which will be practiced in Germany.
Exit the mention Ultimate Collector Series, LEGO indicates that this imposing playset is part of the LEGO Star Wars range Master Builder Series which is sure to fuel the conversations between AFOLs and collectors obsessed with the UCS mention, by the sets that deserve or not this name, etc ... It is undoubtedly gone for a round.
At first glance, there is a lot of fun as long as you want to "replay" some of the scenes that take place in the City of clouds... Too bad for the aerial side of the thing, the construction will rest flat on the chest of drawers, LEGO obviously not having planned a support allowing to give a little height to the whole.
You can stop seeking to acquire separately the sets 10123 Cloud City (2003), 7119 Twin-Pod Cloud Car (2002) and 7144 Slave I (2000), this new playset allows to obtain at the same time a representation of the most emblematic of the City of clouds and the two vessels in question.
We will talk soon about this box and I will have the opportunity to give you my impressions on its content.
