LEGO Star Wars 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina (Master Builder Series): Everything You Need to Know

This is the big "official" announcement of the day but it will not surprise many people after the many leaks that have taken place in recent days on the usual channels: LEGO finally unveils the Star Wars set 75290 Mos Eisley Winery, a large box of 3187 pieces that will allow you to assemble a luxury playset from the Tatooine tavern and some additional constructions including the Jawas shop. We will also get a nice assortment of 21 minifigs, a Dewback, a V-35 Courier Landspeeder and an Ubrikkian 9000 Z001 capsule.

This box is stamped with the words "Master Builder Series"that only the 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City marketed in 2018 so far displayed. With all due respect to all those who undoubtedly attach too much importance to the various and varied denominations which sometimes (but not always) dress the various collectors sets of the LEGO Star Wars range, this box is therefore not "officially" "a UCS (Ultimate Collector Series), while the playset 75098 Assault on Hoth marketed in 2016 is a full member of this prestigious sub-range.

This luxury playset will need space when the Cantina is opened with a length of 58 cm, a depth of 58 cm and a height of 19 cm, and that's not counting the few additional items provided.

This box will be available in preview for members of the VIP program from September 16, before global availability announced for October 1, 2020. Public price of the set: 349.99 € / 369.00 CHF.

On the minifig side, the set will therefore allow you to obtain a very large handful of characters already seen in different sets of the LEGO Star Wars range: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO , Greedo, Wuher, a Jawa, two Sandtroopers and three of the band members Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes.

The endowment of unpublished characters in minifig format is more modest with Ponda Baba, Dr. Cornelius Evazan, Garindan ezz Zavor, Kabe, Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead), Hrchek Kal Fas and Kardue sai'Malloc (Labria).
