Here are the last three minifigs delivered in the 2016 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, after everyone can move on.
On the left, a Stromtrooper like LEGO has been providing us with buckets for a few years, and of which we can also find two copies in the set 75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Pack. He's always one more Stormtrooper for the Army builders.
In the middle, the traditional festive minifig from this 2016 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar with a white Wookie, called Snow chewbacca by LEGO, equipped with his snowball-throwing crossbow. This variant of Chewbacca therefore joins the other festive minifigs released so far in the drawer "cool stuff five minutes": Yoda (2011), Darth Maul (2012), Jango Fett (2013), Darth Vader (2014) and Santa C-3PO & Reindeer R2-D2 (2015).
On the right, a minifig of Luke Skywalker, far from being unique because already seen in the sets 75093 Death Star Final Duel released in 2015 and 75159 Death Star (the remake of the other Death Star ...) released this year. To allow you to lose a sword handle, LEGO provides a second in the bag. If you absolutely wanted to add this minifigure to your collection without investing in the two sets mentioned above, this is the opportunity to do so at a lower cost.
I say it again, just to be sure that LEGO hears me: It would be good if the complete inventory of these LEGO Star Wars Advent calendars, still sold for 35 €, ultimately allow to assemble a big thing. It is still the concept trumpeted by the brand throughout the marketing campaign, the motivation of the fans would only be increased tenfold and this type of set would find a much more interesting end point than ending up in the mini-stuff drawer.
With these kind words, happy New Years Eve everyone.
