The team in charge of the development of the animated series Droid Tales was gathered yesterday for a somewhat laborious panel which unfortunately will not have been very rich in unpublished information.
A few extracts were broadcast, including sequences that present the different stages of creation of certain scenes.
In addition to the self-congratulation between the speakers and the boasting of Anthony Daniels who provides the dubbing of C-3PO in the series, we note that Droid Tales is broken down into five 22-minute episodes which will be broadcast from July next on the Disney XD channel and that the first episode will evoke the events of Episodes I and II of the Star Wars saga (The Phantom Menace & The Clone Wars), that the second mini-film will be devoted to Episode III (Revenge of the Sith), the 3rd episode to Episode IV (To New Hope) and the events of the animated series Star Wars Rebels, the 4th episode will be dedicated to Episode V (The Empire Strikes Back) and the 5th episode to Episode VI (Return of the Jedi).
The question and answer session with the audience at least allowed us to learn that Michael Price (The Simpsons), the screenwriter of the series, would like to see one day arrive on the shelves the yellow bus seen in The Padawan Menace. And I can only agree with him ...
For the rest, the participants in the panel generally kicked in on the most sensitive questions, relating in particular to Episode VII or the relationship between existing and future LEGO toys and their presence in virtual form in the animated LEGO Star Wars series. .
The panel can be viewed on the LEGO YouTube channel at this address.

- zelk : Not motorized and difficult to set up. For half...

- zelk : Quite successful, a few euros less would have been appreciated...
- Bebrasta : Quite convincing I would say. We even have the right to tile...
- Bebrasta : I find the result rather satisfactory, at least on display...
- Thund3R : Better than the old one, but no Droidoka in my home at the price...
- brickbangtheory : A nice batch but it will cost me less than the last...
- Banzaiman : Yeah, nice. The "fragile" side would make me hesitate......
