Fans of exclusive minifigs from the LEGO Star Wars range, you are bound to know the books published by Dorling Kindersley which are regularly offered around this range. Playful, richly illustrated and very useful in case of doubt about the provenance of a minifigure or the year of production of a set, these books are always accompanied by an exclusive minifigure of varying interest.
The vein of these works around the LEGO Star Wars range is inexhaustible and the publisher DK exploits it to the limit with regular updates of existing volumes: The Visual Dictionary originally published in 2009 was recently replaced by an updated and augmented version to incorporate the novelties marketed since and the encyclopedia of characters which dates from 2011 will suffer the same fate with a second volume available in May 2015.
It is important to note that the minifigure provided changes with each update of the book. Collectors will therefore not hesitate to combine versions to be sure of owning all the existing minifigs. There are even two versions of Luke's minifigure in uniform "Celebration"provided in the 2009 edition of Visual Dictionary : Two different faces have been marketed ...
More than reference books on the subject they tackle, these encyclopedias are above all richly illustrated collections of what the LEGO Star Wars range has been offering since its creation. Collectors find their account there with the different chronologies presented, children too: The editorial content is accessible to the youngest.
To date, none of the minifigs offered with these books has subsequently been integrated into a set from the LEGO Star Wars range. They are therefore quite exclusive.
You can find all these books, in their original version edited by DK or localized in French by Huginn & Muninn in the dedicated section on Pricevortex.com.
And as here we do not keep the books that we send to us (thanks to LEGO), you will be able to win one of the four copies presented above (in English version): Four nicknames among the comments posted on this article (Do not deny yourself to be constructive ...) will be drawn. The books will be distributed randomly among the four winners.
