Another set which is not really a surprise for all those who follow closely the "leaks" of various and varied visuals, but this official announcement of the reference Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) 75144 Snowspeeder (1703 pieces & 2 minifigs - 219.99 €) is at least the opportunity to discover in more detail this remake of the set UCS 10129 Snowspeeder (1457 pieces & 0 minfigs) released in 2003.
Good news for all those who refused until now to spend crazy sums to acquire the version of 2003, this new version is in my opinion more faithful to the model of the film, particularly in terms of the proportions of the cockpit.
The set is referenced on the official LEGO store at this address at the public price of 219.99 €.
Availability announced for May 4 next with an early sale on the LEGO Shop and in the LEGO Stores of this D2C set (Direct2Consumer) for members of the VIP program from April 29 on the occasion of a week dedicated to the annual event May the 4th.

Lots of stickers to dress this Snowspeeder or T-47 Airspeeder, as the designers themselves confirm (video below), a new canopy that allows to obtain a cockpit really more faithful to the model of the film and some rather successful features such as the speedbrakes or the mobile cannon that can be swiveled from the on-board shooter station. The two minifigs provided are exclusive to this set, with pad printing on the arms and new helmets.
