Little information circulates on the set Marvel 76039 expected for summer 2015, but we learn all the same that it should be a box representing the "final battle"from the film with inside Scott Lang/Ant-Man (played on screen by Paul Rudd), a giant winged ant, the villain of the film (it would not be Yellowjacket / Darren Cross) as well as oversized bricks, probably to place the supplied minifigs in a suitable context without having to resort to microfigs.

Update : The second minifigure in the set is that of Hank Pym.

As it is still very calm at the moment, here is something to wait with the official visuals of the boxes of the five Marvel and DC Comics sets expected for this summer and presented for the first time by LEGO during the last New York Toy Fair: 76034 The Batboat Harbor Pursuit, 76035 Jokerland, 76036 Carnage's SHIELD Sky Attack, 76037 Rhino & Sandman Supervillain Team-up et 76039 Ant-Man Final Battle et 10687 Spider-Man Hideout.

These sets had made a cameo appearance at amazon a few days ago but have since been retired.

The rumor tap is flowing and the list of DC Comics and Marvel sets expected for summer 2015 is gradually taking shape.

There is hardly any doubt, the two Marvel sets featuring the Spider-Man universe will be based on the animated series. Ultimate Spider-Man, which would explain the presence of the armor Iron Spider seen in the series in minifig format.

The set 76039 would eventually be based on the animated series Avengers Assemble (see the visual below) and not on the film which will be released next summer. LEGO has already released two sets inspired by this animated series: 76017 Captain America vs. HYDRA et 76018 Hulk Lab Smash
