Paused during the launch phase of the LEGO Dimensions video game, the promo of the LEGO Marvel's Avengers game expected for January 2016 is resumed with a new panel that just took place at New York Comic Con.

As usual with this type of game, it is the fan service that takes the upper hand with many playable characters announced including Agent Carter (in black and white), Phil Coulson, Jessica Jones, Devil Dinosaur, Moonboy, Agent M ( Ryan Penagos, Executive Editorial Director at Marvel), Harley Keener and his Patator (The kid from Iron Man 3),  Iron pig, Thanos and his Thanoscope, The Collector, Daredevil (But not the version of the Netflix TV series deemed too violent), Iron Man Mark XXXVIII (Igor), etc ...

No DLC for this game has yet been announced and it has been confirmed that there will be no Marvel Stable characters in the LEGO Dimensions game "in the near future".

The panel was also an opportunity to clarify rumors relating to the post-credits sequence of the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham video game that some had interpreted as a teaser of a possible Crossovers Marvel / DC Comics in an upcoming game. It isn't, it was just a teaser for the LEGO Marvel's Avengers game.

The game will allow you to relive the events of most of the films of the Cinematic Universe Marvel released to date:

marvel studios phase 3

Disney (Marvel) is coming to communicate the new release schedule for Phase III films of the Cinematic Universe of the franchise.

The Art of the Brick: DC Comics

Remember, a few months ago I told you about the next exhibition of Nathan Sawaya, world-renowned LEGO artist, some of you were able to admire the work of during the visit to France of the exhibition The Art of the Brig.

His next exhibition, which brings together more than 120 works based on the DC Comics universe, will open its doors in Sydney, Australia on November 20, before going around the world and probably passing through France.

History to salivate amateurs, the artist unveiled today the giant Batmobile (more than 500.000 bricks, 5.50 meters long) which will be at the center of this new exhibition.

LEGO Mighty Micros 2016

We can finally put a name on the range "Racers"DC Comics and Marvel rumors have been telling us for several weeks: It will in fact be a mini range of six boxes sold for 9.99 € (Three DC Comics boxes and three Marvel boxes) and which will be marketed under the name Mighty Pickups.

From what I have been able to see for the moment, the minifigs which accompany the mini vehicles will be quite complete (head, torso, legs) but it seems that the legs are those usually used by LEGO on the minifigs representing children ( or hobbits), that is to say those shorter and without joints.

Below, the list of planned sets:

LEGO DC Comics:

  • 76061 Mighty Micros: Batman vs Catwoman
  • 76062 Mighty Micros: Robin vs Bane
  • 76063 Mighty Micros: The Flash vs Captain Cold

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes:

  • 76064 Mighty Micros: Spiderman vs Green Goblin
  • 76065 Mighty Micros: Captain America vs Red Skull
  • 76066 Mighty Micros: Hulk vs Ultron

As for the mini vehicles, it's compact and very minimalist:

76061: Batman has a black and yellow mini-Batmobile equipped with a grapple launcher, Catwoman walks in a black and purple mini-kart with a cat tail on the back. In the box, a carton of milk, a diamond, a batarang.

76062: Bane has a vehicle with a conical drilling attachment in the front, Robin drives a red and green mini-kart. Robin is equipped with a red grapple launcher.

76063: Captain Cold drives a blue snow plow with a yellow surfboard on the front as an accessory to push snow, Flash drives a red mini-kart with flames coming out of the rear exhausts. In the box, an ice cream cone with scoops (white) and a "cooling" gun for Captain Cold.

76064: Green Goblin drives a green and orange rolling contraption fitted with two wings on the sides, Spider-Man's mini-kart is blue and red and it is also a mini-helicopter with one propeller and two flick fire missiles. In the box, a green vial, a pad-printed pumpkin (head).

76065: Red Skull flies a black and red craft with integrated detachable missile and Captain America drives what looks from a distance like a mini version of the Hydra craft seen in set 76017 Captain America vs. Hydra. In the box, Captain America's shield and a translucent cube for Red Skull.

76066: Ultron has a red and gray mini-kart, Hulk has a white and purple quad with two oversized green hands (those of the maxifig already available) in the front. Ultron throws an adjustable wrench (!) At Hulk. Hulk throws a chicken thigh (!!) at Ultron.
