It was thanks to an alert issued via the application of the US Target brand that some customers were able to discover the first visual of Carnage's head (ref. LEGO 76199) scheduled for March 2021. The set has since been added to the brand's website.
The American brand will have the exclusivity of this product for the territory, but this box will be available directly from LEGO anywhere in the world.
Pre-orders will be open tomorrow in the US and we will probably have access to better quality visuals than the screenshot above.
We can assume that the public price of this box of 546 pieces will be 59.99 € with us, as is already the case for other products based on the same format marketed so far. We also know that another reference to assemble the Batman mask is planned this year in the LEGO DC Comics range.
Everyone will have an opinion on this new variation of an emblematic character from the Marvel universe in the format of the "helmet collection"LEGO. I personally am not convinced.
LEGO has put online a new reference that will be available from April 1 in the Marvel range, the set 40454 Spider-Man vs Venom & Iron Venom. In the box, 63 pieces and 4 minifigs, Spider-Man, Venom, Pork Grind and Iron Venom, for a public price announced at 14.99 €.
This will be the first appearance of Pork Grind, a member of the Swinester Six from theAniverse (Earth-8311), a parallel universe where everyone is an animal in which we also find Spider-Ham (Peter Porker), a character whose minifigure is delivered in the set 76151 Venomosaurus Ambush. The Pork Grind figure reuses Venom's torso.
The minifigure of Iron Venom uses the torso of the minifigure seen in the set 76163 Venom Crawler (2020) but here it inherits a helmet with a superb new pad printing.
The Venom figurine is the one seen in the sets 76115 Spider Mech vs. Venom (2019) 76150 Spiderjet vs. Venom Mech (2020) et 76151 Venomosaurus Ambush (2020), that of Spider-Man with his pad-printed arms is already delivered in the sets 76172 Spider-Man and Sandman Showdown (2021), 76173 Spider-Man and Ghost Rider vs. Carnage (2021) et 76174 Spider-Man's Monster Truck vs. Mysterio (2021)
For those interested, know that the LEGO polybag 30453 Captain Marvel and Nick Fury is available on the official online store at the public price of 3.99 €.
The Captain Marvel minifigure is here in version Star Force and this is the same figure as the one delivered in the very exclusive set 77902 Captain Marvel and the Asis (271 pieces) sold during San Diego Comic Con 2019.
The other minifig provided in this polybag is that of Nick Fury seen in the LEGO Marvel set 76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack (307 pieces - 29.99 €).
This bag was put on sale for a little less than $ 5 at Walmart in the USA in early 2020 and has since been available in mass on the secondary market at a price similar to that currently charged by LEGO, but you must add the costs of Harbor. If you lack enough to reach the minimum purchase amount to take advantage of an offer at LEGO, it will always be better than a normal keychain.
Today we return to the LEGO Marvel Avengers universe with the set 76170 Iron Man vs. Thanos, a reference of 103 pieces stamped 4+ which will be available from March 1st at the public price of € 19.99.
In the box, we find something to assemble two constructions which immediately seem a little off topic and which obviously only offer a very limited challenge, even if this is the purpose of the 4+ universe intended for the youngest fans in transition course from the DUPLO range to more classic products.
The "starter brick", as LEGO names it in the official product description, is the base of Tony Stark's ship here. It is on this large piece that the handful of elements are placed which allows to obtain a somewhat coarse jet with a open cockpit Even though the ship deserved to be completely closed, the youngest will have no trouble installing or removing Tony Stark from this spacious, easily accessible cockpit.
The ship in question seems to be more or less inspired by that seen in Doctor Strange comic # 1 published in June 2018 but we can also imagine that the designer is vaguely referring here toy marketed in 2009 in the range Marvel crossovers. LEGO designers have their influences and their childhood memories and it is not uncommon to find traces of them in their creations, it may be the case here.
Two pad printed parts are integrated into the ship with on one side a few control screens in the cockpit and a hood with an ARC Reactor. This piece may find a second life among MOCeurs who want to tinker with a Hulkbuster. The ship is equipped with two Disc shooters side which will only be of interest as long as the young owner of the set has not yet lost the three ammunition provided.
Opposite, we're building a rotating turret for Thanos. The thing, which looks like a product from the defunct range Mighty Microphones, is equipped with the new dart launcher which replaces the previous model since last year. LEGO only provides one ammunition, it's a bit petty, and two pad-printed pieces that take up the pattern visible on the character's torso dress the sides of the barrel. The playability could have been maximum if LEGO had planned a turret orientable on a vertical axis but this is unfortunately not the case. It is still a question of targeting a ship and not a car.
The two main constructions are accompanied by an alcove protected on one side by lasers in the middle of which there is an Infinity Gauntlet. The coin used here is just a Oversized Minifig Hand as there are in many other boxes at LEGO since 2013. No trace of the Infinity Stones on the glove, it is necessary to be satisfied with a generic element not padprinted.
As for the two minifigs delivered in this box, nothing new or exclusive: the Iron Man figurine is the one already seen since 2020 in the sets 76140 Iron Man Mech, 76152 Avengers Wrath of Loki, 76153 Avengers Helicarrier, 76164 Iron Man Hulkbuster versus AIM Agent, 76166 Avengers Tower Battle et 76167 Iron Man Armory. It was also offered with the official LEGO Marvel Avengers magazine in November 2020.
Thanos' minifigure is the one in the set 76141 Thanos Mech (2020), the pair of legs less pad printed. The 76141 set therefore remains the only solution to obtain a minifig dressed from head to toe, it is also sold for € 9.99.
So there is not much to chew on in this little box, except maybe apart from the two pretty colored supports called "Energy Stands"by LEGO. These two pieces are rather original and they allow to beautifully stage the minifigures. They also provide an appreciable aesthetic solution when it comes to trying to stabilize characters overloaded with various and varied equipment that have a Little trouble to stand up The MOCeurs will eventually find their use on ship reactors.
In short, this box sold for 20 € does not have many arguments to make whether in the field of the construction challenge or that of the characters. Even the gameplay is only relative with the inability to orient the turret upwards to aim at Tony Stark's ship. It is therefore in my opinion possible to do much better with 20 €, even for a young child.
Note: The set presented here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at March 9, 2021 next at 23pm. "The" I try, I participate "are automatically deleted, make an effort.
Update : The winner was drawn and was notified by email, his nickname is indicated below. Without a response from him to my request for contact details within 5 days, a new winner will be drawn.

Two new official LEGO magazines are currently on newsstands with on one side the LEGO Star Wars version accompanied by a Mandalorian minifig already seen in the LEGO Star Wars set 75267 Mandalorian Battle Pack (14.99 €) marketed since 2019 and on the other hand the LEGO Marvel Avengers version which allows you to obtain a minifig of Venom already seen in the sets in the sets 76115 Spider Mech vs. Venom (€ 54.99), 76150 Spiderjet vs. Venom Mech (€ 39.99), 76151 Venomosaurus Ambush (79.99 €) and which will also be provided in the set 76175 Attack on the Spider Lair (84.99 €) from March 1st.
It's up to you to see if these two minifigs deserve to spend respectively 5.99 € for the Mandalorian and 6.50 € for Venom or if it is better to invest in one of the references already marketed which allow to obtain these two characters.
Through the pages of these two new magazines, we discover the products that will be offered with the next issues and I have scanned the visuals concerned: the Emperor Palpatine will be available with the LEGO Star Wars magazine from March 10, 2021 and Thor will accompany the new issue of the LEGO Marvel Avengers magazine starting May 5, 2021.
Rey Palpatine's grandfather's minifig with its angular hood will obviously not be new or exclusive, it is the one in the set 75291 Death Star Final Duel (109.99 €). It will be delivered with the red saber with golden handle also seen in this box.
Thor's minifigure is quite common, it is the one seen in the sets 76142 Avengers Speeder Bike Attack (24.99 €) and 76153 Helicarrier (129.99 €), it will be accompanied by Mjolnir.
