Until LEGO and Liebherr finally decide to officially present the LEGO Technic set 42100 Liebherr R 9800 Excavator, here is a new series of official visuals uploaded by several brands who already offer this product resulting from the collaboration between the two manufacturers for pre-order.
This big box of 4108 pieces will be available next October at around 450 € and for this price you can control the machine using your smartphone since it benefits from the integration of the Control + ecosystem in the same way. that the set 42099 4x4 X-treme Off-Roader already available.
The application which controls the machine promises to be very complete with no less than four different interfaces, several status gauges which will provide information on the distance traveled or the battery level and the possibility of broadcasting sound sequences via the connected smartphone. In the spirit of what the LEGO Boost concept offers, it will be possible to record routines that can then be launched to allow the machine to perform a series of commands almost autonomously.
Under the body you will find two Smart Hubs and seven engines (3 XL engines and 4 L engines) which will enable the operations documented in the visuals below to be carried out. We will talk about all this very soon on the occasion of a "Review ".
