On the occasion of Bauma 2019, a trade fair for construction and mining equipment in Munich, the company Liebherr has highlighted its recent partnership with LEGO which will materialize next summer with the LEGO Technic set 42100 Liebherr R 9800 Excavator.
It is therefore an opportunity to discover new visuals of the machine which will benefit from the new Control + ecosystem based on a network of smart hubs, motors and a dedicated application.
With more than 4000 parts (4108 to be exact), two Smart Hubs, seven engines and a public price announced at 449.99 € for Germany, the 42100 set will offer unprecedented interactivity with the possibility of pre-programming sets of commands and of recording the actions carried out.
Each Smart Hub Bluetooth can manage up to 4 motors and several Hubs can be chained together.
Note that another set, the reference 42099 4x4 Crawler (958 pieces), will also benefit from the Control + ecosystem but it will carry only one Smart Hub and two engines. Public price announced 229.99 €.
