If you've been following the evolution of the LEGO Worlds video game, in constant development since June 2015 and available in early paid access (14.99 €) Since the same date, you'll probably be happy to hear that the final version of the game will be available on February 22, 2017 on PC via Steam, on PS4 and on XBOX One.
The pitch of the game for those who do not yet know the concept:
In LEGO® Worlds, players will be able to discover hidden treasures in environments ranging from the funniest to the most fantastic. Worlds will come to life through a wide variety of vehicles and creatures - from cowboys riding giraffes to creepy vampires yetis; from the steamroller, to racing cars and colossal machines. Players can embark on a quest to become a Master Builder and help other LEGO® characters along the way: find a sword for a king, protect a farmer from a zombie invasion, or build a house for a caveman. Environments and creations come to life, and can be built brick by brick, or dotted with pre-made LEGO® models. Players will also be able to use extraordinary tools to paint and shape landscapes. The LEGO® Worlds online multiplayer feature allows players to explore their friends' worlds, create together and play in cooperative or competitive mode. |
We are already promised DLCs (paid or free extensions) for this game developed by TT Games, with a first pack "lego agents"containing new characters, vehicles and weapons that will be exclusive to the PS4 platform initially and available three months later on XBOX One.
