Leicester Square LEGO Store mascot Lester returns in a polybag

Remember, in November 2016, LEGO inaugurated its new London store in Leicester Square and offered for the occasion 275 copies of the Store mascot: Lester.

You had to be very lucky to leave with this character and its collector's packaging, spending £ 55 in the process and scratching the receipt delivered to the cash register.

If you've since regretted not being able to add this exclusive minifigure to your collection, here's something to console you with the same figurine now available in a polybag bearing the reference 40308 sold for the modest sum of £ 5.99 (€ 6.80) across the Channel .

The move may not be justified, but Lester will quickly become more affordable on Bricklink or on eBay.

As an added bonus, you'll get the umbrella that didn't come with the exclusive minifig that was distributed last year.
