London Toy Fair 2012: Queen Amidala is confirmed

Anyone who was still skeptical, even after some obvious explanations, are at their expense: The long awaited minifig of Queen Amidala is confirmed in the set 9499 Gungan Sub by Huw Millington from brick set who was able to admire the Star Wars novelties exhibited at the London Toy Fair 2012. The Gungan Sub also has a detachable escape pod at the back. 

Still according to him, the set 9516 Jabba's Palace is excellent, solid and well built. The Jabba figurine is identical to the one we know but with an olive green color and with a well-made serigraphy. Overall Huw Millington says all the minifigs in the set are successful.

The and 9496 Desert Skiff also has the favors of Huw with a Lando Calrissian different from the one we know in the set 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge, and a Boba Fett who also seemed relatively different to the last version released.

For the rest, no particular enthusiasm on his part for the two sets based on the game Star Wars The Old Republic (9497 Republic Striker-Class Starfighter & 9500 Sith Fury-Class Interceptor), nor for the 9515 Malevolence elsewhere. The ship is in the Clone Wars colors and close to the ISD template of the set 6211. Minifigs are not exclusive and are already known in the Star Wars range.
