The February 2022 issue of the Official LEGO Star Wars Magazine is available on newsstands and it allows us as planned to obtain a new and exclusive Millennium Falcon of 41 pieces.
The next issue of the magazine is expected for March 9, 2022 and it will allow you to obtain a Clone Trooper of the 501st with his blaster, a minifigure identical to those delivered since 2020 in the LEGO Star Wars set 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers (29.99 €).
For those who are interested, I remind you that the instructions of the different mini-models delivered with this magazine are available in PDF format on the publisher's website. All you have to do is enter the code on the back of the bag to obtain the file.
Finally, be aware that it is currently possible to subscribe for a period of six months or a year to the official LEGO Star Wars magazine via the abo-online.fr platform. The 12-month subscription (13 issues) costs € 65.
A short tour and then goes: after four issues, the French version of the official LEGO Explorer magazine launched in May 2021 is already bowing out. The publisher Panini stops the costs, probably because of the too low sales of this unlicensed magazine which wanted to be a product with more elaborate content than the usual magazines which distill comics, games and advertisements for LEGO brand products.
We can therefore conclude that the formula did not appeal to newsstands, despite the presence of a thematic polybag supplied with each of the four issues: a somewhat shapeless time machine (11947), a parrot (11949) rather nice, a mill with a wind turbine (11952) not very inspired and a rather successful gecko (11953). At €5.99 per magazine, readers were perhaps expecting something more extensive editorially. The formula was in my opinion far from being convincing on this last point, even for the youngest, with content that strayed too frankly from the main center of interest and unkept promises, in particular concerning "building advice " which often boiled down to a few vague ideas without interest.
The January issue of the official LEGO Marvel Avengers magazine is currently available on newsstands and it allows us to obtain an Iron Man minifigure already delivered with the magazine in November 2020 and seen in many sets including references 76140 Iron Man Mech, 76152 Avengers: Wrath of Loki, 76153 Helicarrier, 76164 Iron Man Hulkbuster Versus AIM Agent, 76166 Avengers Tower Battle et 76167 Iron Man Armory. For the occasion, the character is here accompanied by a few additional elements that allow him to be staged.
The figurine that will be delivered with the next issue to be published on March 7, 2022 is revealed in the inside pages of the magazine, it is Loki. This minifig only came in the LEGO Marvel set 76152 Avengers: Wrath of Loki. If you have not already spent the 70 € requested by LEGO for this box stamped 4+ which is no longer marketed by LEGO, this will be the opportunity to obtain at a lower cost (6.50 €) this variant with its torso unpublished, his legs neutral and the face of Lex Luthor or several officers of the First Order.
The January 2022 issue of the official LEGO Star Wars magazine is available on newsstands and allows us, as expected, to obtain a Snowtrooper armed with his blaster, a minifigure that is also present in the new Battle Pack 75320 Snowtrooper Battle Pack.
The next issue of the magazine is expected on newsstands on February 9, 2022 and it will provide a Millennium Falcon of 41 different pieces from those already delivered with the magazine in 2016 and then in 2019.
The December 2021 issue of the official LEGO Batman magazine is currently available on newsstands and, as announced in the previous issue, it allows you to obtain a rather common Batman minifigure equipped with two Batarangs. Not enough to rush to your favorite newsagent to spend € 6.50 there, unless you also collect the shiny bags.
More interesting, in the pages of this new number we discover the contents of the bag which will accompany the next magazine and it is about a Batmobile. It's always better than yet another generic minifigure and the vehicle seems rather successful given the compact format imposed. See you on newsstands on February 11, 2022 to get this new interpretation of Batman's racing car.
