Disney is releasing the trailer for the first season of the Marvel animated series What If ...? whose 10 episodes will begin airing on August 11 on Disney +. We already know that a second season of 10 episodes of this inspired series is planned.
It is Uatu, the Guardian, who will serve as narrator for this exercise in style which stages alternate continuities within which the events of the Marvel universe unfold differently from those of the usual timeline.
The comics of the same title which vaguely serve as a reference for the series were published as early as 1977 and until 2004 with rather original alternate stories such as the arrival of Spider-Man in the group of Fantastic 4, Jane Foster who finds the hammer of Thor and becomes Thordis, Jessica Jones who integrates the troop of the Avengers, Venom and Deadpool who merge to become Venompool or Wolverine who becomes an agent of SHIELD. The animated series proposed by Disney + only uses the title of the original comics and focuses on alternative stories to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
LEGO will offer at least two boxes based on episodes of the animated series with on one side Tony Stark and his Hulkbuster made up of parts recovered from Sakaar's dump and on the other Peggy Carter who became Captain Carter in pursuit of Red Skull with assistance from Steve Rogers at the controls of a mech. To obtain a Guardian minifigure, you must not ignore the only one of the two sets that features the character. These two boxes will be available from August 1st, ten days before the broadcast of the first episode of the series.

The latest rumors circulating on the usual channels let us imagine that the series of collectible Marvel minifigs scheduled for the start of the school year (ref. 71031) should allow us to obtain some characters also from the animated series Marvel What If. ..? : Peggy Carter / Captain Britain, Zombie Captain America, T'Challa / Star-Lord, Steve Rogers / Spider-Man and Gamora / Thanos would be in the bags. Nothing officially confirmed for the moment, it will be necessary to wait for an announcement from LEGO to be clear.
