For those who understand English, here is an interesting interview by Matthew James Ashton, formerly designer on the LEGO Agents range and since then Vice President of the Design Sector at LEGO, who at Collider discusses many subjects including the inevitable The LEGO Movie, but also the future of the Simpsons range, the Cuusoo concept, the possible return of old ranges, etc ...
For others, just remember that there will be no other The LEGO Movie sets than those announced, either 17 sets and a series of 16 minifigs to collect, that there is no chance that Moe's Tavern or Springfield Nuclear Power Plant will ever see the light of day in The Simpsons lineup which should be limited to the set 71006 The Simpsons House and the series of 16 collectible minifigs (71005), that sales of the Cuusoo set 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine are excellent and that the Ectomobile of the future set # 007 Cuusoo is already ready and will be marketed soon.
Matthew James Ashton also confirms the very good relationship between LEGO and Disney, especially when it comes to the future of Star Wars, that a character from The Simpsons makes an appearance in The LEGO Movie (Milhouse) and that it should not be too count on the reappearance of a Futuron monorail or Blacktron sets in the shelves ....
The interview (in English) is to be discovered in full at this address.
