MOC: Dewback Patrol by Rusty

Many of you were hoping for a new version of the Dewback in the first wave sets scheduled for 2012.
The disappointment is there, no dewback .... We must therefore be satisfied with the 2004 version delivered with the set 4501 Mos Eisley Winery and which sells for a high price on bricklink...
Some, like Rusty from the Brickpirate forum, don't give up and go with their dewback MOC.

In the end, we get a rather successful creature given the constraints in terms of parts and colors. Rusty gets us to appreciate his ingeniously designed and proportioned dewback.
