For those who don't know what a playsets, it is about a set equipped with functions bringing a certain playability as opposed to a set intended primarily for the exhibition.

jammiedodger concotted a playset representing the Grievous landmark, well in the spirit of what we know with for example the set 10123 Cloud City (2003) or the set 7879 Hoth Echo Base (2011). On the menu, a beautiful landing platform hosting a modified version of Ahsoka's Starfighter from the set 7751 Ahsoka's Starfighter and Droids (2009), doors that open, hatches that slip out and a fully equipped control room. The whole is occupied by a dozen minifigs in action among which Grievous himself, Kit Fisto, Nahdar Vebb and a few others ....

Obviously, this is not an MOC reproducing a machine or a scene and the priority has been put on the gameplay well before the level of detail. What strikes me the most when I see the various reactions on the dedicated topic at Eurobricks, it is the readiness of the forumers to cry genius on this playset, while the same criticize LEGO when the manufacturer offered the same type of set this year with the  7879 Hoth Echo Base. You will undoubtedly answer me that this is normal at Eurobricks, the realm of self-satisfaction and mass congratulation .....

In short, to see more and in particular some close-up views of the different functions, it is therefore on the dedicated topic at Eurobricks that it happens.
