MOC: Imperial Shuttle by madLEGOman

A little vintage spirit that does not hurt, here we are in 1997 with this Imperial Shuttle designed by madLEGOman to be displayed in a Tom's Toys toy store in the United States.

Recovered by its creator, the machine has aged and many parts have yellowed from exposure to the sun and various lighting, giving it an even more realistic appearance.
We will also note some interesting construction techniques, especially given in the context of the time with the absence of many parts, not yet available in 1999.

Seeing these photos, I asked myself the following question: Why do the MOCeurs not pay more attention to the overall realism of the MOC, especially with the ships from the Star Wars saga? A few touches of Tan or Brown would help create a more realistic atmosphere and a less clean side to all those ships that roam the galaxy, engage in destructive battles and land on dusty planets ...
