MOC: Legostein and its "Alternative Models" from set 4098

Legostein aka Christopher Deck, known for his hundreds of Star Wars MOCs in mini or midi format, offers us an exercise that seems to please and inspire him: Building alternative models from only parts of an existing set.
 
Thus, by using the contents of the 4098 Designer Set: High Flyers, he presents two rather successful models given the limited number of pieces available and especially their colors.
 
In the end we get a CIS Vulture Droid and Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter quite convincing.
If you want to reproduce these two machines, Legostein makes the instructions available to this address for the Starfighter and this address for the Vulture Droid.
