The LEGO Movie: 70809 Lord Business' Evil Lair

Another set from the The LEGO Movie range unveiled today by the manufacturer with the box 70809 Lord Business' Evil Lair.

On the menu of this set at the US public price of $ 89.99 which we do not understand much without seeing the film: 738 pieces including a kind of laboratory or TV studio (LEGO likes various and varied laboratories ...) as well as the minifigs of Emmet, Vitruvius, My Cop, Pa Cop, Lord Business (The character of President Business in a rather "special" version), El Macho Wrestler (The "Fighter"or wrestler seen on eBay a few days ago) and Biznis kitty, a variant of the multicolored Uni-Kitty unicorn seen in the set previously unveiled: 70803 Cloud Cuckoo Palace.

13 sets are planned in this range for January 2014, we now know 3 of the 10 listed by different merchants. The 3 sets not listed will undoubtedly be exclusives of the LEGO Shop or certain brands.

I remind once again for all those who would not have understood that the film is NOT made in stop-motion, even if the illusion is almost perfect. Everything is reproduced digitally, there is not a piece of plastic on the screen.

While waiting for the movie to be released, you can still have fun with the SigFig Creator uploaded by LEGO at this address : With a few clicks, you can create your LEGO character to use in the various upcoming games based on The LEGO Movie or get a banner for your facebook page or a movie poster with your character for example ...

The giant reproduction (Over 40.000 pieces) of the next LEGO Architecture set: 21019 Eiffel Tower is in place on the premises of the Le Bon Marché brand in Paris.

Since we are not all able to go on site to admire this superb representation of the official model, here is a photo that Nicolas kindly sent me, on which I added the LEGO version of 321 pieces. Nice work on the part of the manufacturers, the reproduction is very faithful.

I remind you that the official set will be on sale in preview at the Bon Marché from December 2 to 14 for the modest sum of 45 €.

(Another big thank you to Nicolas for the photo)

The LEGO Movie: 70803 Cloud Cuckoo Palace

In echo to what I told you yesterday, here is a new trailer for The LEGO Movie which reveals a little more (but not too much) on the content of this film expected for spring 2014.

The most assiduous fans will go through these few images in a loop to detect the nods to many LEGO ranges hidden here and there.

Above, one of the sets in the range: 70803 Cloud Cuckoo Palace... with Emmet, Wyldstyle, Executron and Uni-Kitty ...
