76011 Man-Bat Attack

Already on sale on eBay, the "new" Man-Bat minifigure from the set 76011 Man-Bat Attack. This minifigure uses the same arms as the one seen in the set 9468 Vampyre Castle from the Monster Fighters range, and that's almost a shame.

LEGO could perhaps have used the wings (wings) of Batman seen in black in the set 10937 Arkham Asylum Breakout or in blue in the set 6858 Catwoman Catcycle Chase.

Man-Bat will ship in set 76011 alongside Batman and Nightwing.

The LEGO Movie: Metal Beard

Big teasing currently underway for The LEGO Movie (theatrical release early 2014) with a parade of videos presenting the different characters of the film. After Emmet, wyldstyle or even President Business, the big boss of Octan, this is what will look like Metal beard, the Mech-Pirate which will be available in the derived product set 70807 MetalBeard's Duel.

I'll spare you here a myriad of videos which mostly cover the original trailer that we've all seen 100 times, but you can refresh your ideas on LEGO YouTube channel If you feel like it.

The more time passes, and the more I wonder if this film will really be a hit with us, it will undoubtedly depend a little on the French voice casting, and on the other releases which will take place the same week in our cinemas, in particular as regards the young audience.

My children are currently not thrilled by what they saw of the film, that is to say a very (too) speedy trailer for them, and some videos presenting the characters. On the other hand, the teasing seems once again to go towards the programmed overdose, a little in the spirit of what has just happened in recent weeks with the LEGO Super Heroes video game: Too much soliciting the public with a lot of images , videos and advertisements cleverly disguised as various interviews, saturation awaits some of us even before having wanted to know more.

The situation seems a bit confusing to me when it comes to The LEGO Movie: Is the movie a giant commercial with near-permanent product placement for the new LEGO range in the product itself or are the planned sets just products derived from a full-fledged cinematographic work? If you have an opinion on the subject, do not hesitate to share it in the comments.

Below, an overview of the packaging used for the sets in the range. (The number 442 for the number of pieces is a generic number usually used on draft versions of packaging, it does not reflect the actual contents of the box).

LEGO ® BRICK FANS 2013

Note on your tablets, the second edition of the convention "LEGO Brick Fans", prepared by the inexhaustible Christophe Cassutti and his entire team, which will take place at the Médoquine de Talence on November 22, 23 and 24.

Beautiful things have been announced: The reconstitution of a Bordeaux vineyard, the endless rail network, the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, Star Wars, Bionicle, Technic, Christmas events etc ...

A draw among all visitors will allow the lucky winner to win a family stay in LEGOland Windsor, including accommodation.

I specify that part of the profits from the sale of products stamped "LEGO Brick Fans"will be donated to a charity.

The price of the entrance ticket is set at € 3 and access will be free for children under 3 years old.

The LEGOramart book (See this article) edited by Muttpop will be previewed at the convention.

The first edition of this convention saw more than 5000 visitors flocking to the stands and I wish Christophe and his team to do even better this year.
