As some of you may have noticed, Hoth Bricks turns two these days.
Two years that more and more of you, very young, young and old, have regularly come here to read, comment and share on the LEGO universe.
Two years during which I shared with you my favorites and my rants, without any objectivity and with all my bad faith.
Two years during which I also learned a lot, especially thanks to you, about the world of AFOLs and LEGO enthusiasts in general.
So, no question of stopping there, it started again. 2013 will be a big year for all of us LEGO fans, and I wouldn't want to miss it for the world.
And if you're planning to be around next year again, that's even better.
PS: Obviously, we are going to celebrate, but give me a little time to organize myself ...
It is the season of the opening of the mini-sites relating to the ranges 2013 at LEGO.
After Galaxy squad, Legends of Chima et The Lone Ranger, here is the mini-site dedicated to the LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles range.
It's still a bit empty, with only video content "LEGO TMNT: Behind the scenes"that until now it was only possible to unlock via a code.
We had already discovered a few weeks ago that LEGO was going to reissue certain sets of the Castle range under the name LEGO Legends.
Fans of this type of sets will be delighted to be able to once again find on the shelves more affordable boxes than those under licenses (LOTR, The Hobbit) which have come (temporarily?) To cannibalize this sector of the LEGO catalog.
Finally, here are the names of these sets planned for August 2013:
70400 Forest Ambush
70401 Gold Getaway
70402 The Gatehouse Raid
70403 Dragon Mountain
70404 Kings Castle
And it is with the upload from the dedicated official mini-site to this new range that LEGO opens hostilities.
We discover the minifigs of Johnny Depp (Tonto) and Armie Hammer (Lone Ranger) inspired by the characters from the film scheduled for August 2013 and LEGO announces April 2013 for the official release of the sets, of which I give you the list below:
79106 Cavalry Builder Set
79107 Comanche Camp
79108 Stagecoach Escape
79109 Colby City Showdown
79110 Silver Mine Shootout
79111 Constitution Train Chase
Another mysterious visual posted on the official LEGO Star Wars blog with Yoda standing in the middle of a room full of caissons containing guys that little else knows about.
I'm not sure what all this teasing is going to lead us to, but these Yoda chronicles about which we are already waiting a book with exclusive minifig et a set in the second wave LEGO Star Wars 2013 had better be exceptional ...
