You used to add one or two bricks purchased at retail to reach the minimum purchase and take advantage of a promotional offer on the official online store? You may have to change your strategy soon.
LEGO is testing from today the introduction of a minimum purchase on the online service "Pick a Brick" and it is the United Kingdom which sticks to it first with the obligation to reach the sum of £ 12 in order to benefit from the service. The idea behind this test is to align with the cost of the jars sold in LEGO Stores (£ 11.99) and alleviate the workload of the little hands that manage these parts orders.
At this stage, this is only a test phase and LEGO is not communicating for the moment on a possible timetable for the generalization of this new constraint to countries other than the United Kingdom. The manufacturer will learn from this full-scale test before making a decision.
Be careful not to confuse the service "Choose a Brick" with the possibility offered through customer service to buy replacement bricks for your sets. This last service is obviously not affected by the possible establishment of a minimum order amount.
Right now and until March 7 at Maxi Toys, the second LEGO Harry Potter or LEGO CITY set purchased will benefit from a 50% discount on the displayed price.
If you buy two products at the same price (and only in this case), you will therefore benefit from a 25% discount on the entire order.
In all other cases, the overall discount percentage will decrease depending on the price difference between the two products purchased.
The discount is automatically calculated in the basket and obviously applies to the cheapest of the two sets.

Notice to fans of LEGO collectibles who are currently scrambling to assemble the five themed models offered via thehe VIP rewards center, there are at least two other products on the same principle elsewhere in the world. LEGO has indeed offered two pieces 45mm in diameter bearing the likeness of the Mario minifigure with a "Gold" version in Hong Kong and a "Silver" version in South Korea.
Even though there were a few rumors that it would one day, none of these promotional products have been offered anywhere other than Asia to date.
The golden version was put into play at Toys R Us Hong Kong in November 2020 via a scratch card given from 100 HKD of purchase which allowed to try to win one of the 500 copies available. The silver version was offered through the same promotional mechanic in South Korea. These two pieces with a very limited edition and even more limited distribution are obviously for sale on eBay at very high prices. When you love you don't count and the most complete collectors who strive to bring together all the LEGO products in the Super Mario range will perhaps be interested in these two very exclusive products:

We know that the LEGO set 40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute will be offered in March at LEGO but until now we only had a little fuzzy or low resolution visuals of this pretty box which will allow the red Lockheed Vega 5B to be assembled used by Amelia Earhart during her crossing of the Atlantic in 1932.
We now have two official high resolution visuals of this promotional product which should be offered from March 6 to 14, 2021 from 100 € of purchase. Now it's up to you to see if these images which allow you to discover a little more closely the plane with its stickers, the display adorned with a small plate and the minifigure with its card are enough to convince you to add this product to your collection by spending the minimum amount requested on the official online store.

If you want to know (a little) more about the development of the relaxing playlist titled "LEGO White Noise"Online for three weeks on several platforms including Spotify, iTunes and Google Music, the manufacturer has posted the making of the thing.
We suspected that all this was based on overturned bricks, manipulated, brewed, etc ... and this short very first degree video on the subject will probably not teach you much. I have already said it during the initial announcementFrom the concept, I'm not at all sensitive to these ASMR brick noise. I tried to insist to see if my stress level dropped as I listened, but nothing helped, I come out more annoyed than before.
Some of you may have tried out this seven track playlist, feel free to indicate if you felt more relaxed from these different sound sequences which seem like it took a lot of research and research. experimentation. Unless Jinn, the sound engineer in the video, and his collaborators wanted to play a joke on LEGO and pocket a small ticket in the process. Hard to say, we don't see them smiling under their masks.
