Note on your shelves: Disney is back in 2016 with a new edition of the very commercial force friday : It is September 30, 2016 that will be officially launched the products derived from the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
For those who have not followed the adventures of the 2015 edition of force friday, this is a purely commercial event set up from scratch by Disney.
In summary, Disney chooses the ideal moment to unveil the products derived from an upcoming film and strives to enforce a total embargo on the products concerned until the fateful date with a great deal of emails and letters more or less polite.
Obviously, I expect visuals from eight sets based on the film Rogue One (3 Buildable Figures and 5 sets System) are available before September 30 and the game of cat (me) and mouse (Mickey) will resume ...

The polybag DC Comics 30603 Batman Classic TV Series - Mr. Freeze has just made its first official appearance: It was offered by LEGO to some lucky chosen ones who were able to attend a presentation of the brand's booth on New York Toy Fair before the opening of the event.
Note the wrapping of the bag which is in the colors of the set 76052 Batman Classic TV Series - Batcave (289.99 €) which will go on sale on February 17 for members of the VIP program.
No confirmation for the moment from LEGO concerning the mode of distribution / marketing of this polybag.
The various reports of the Toy Fair in Nuremberg had been stingy with close-ups of the Marvel and DC Comics minifigs expected in the sets of the second half of 2016.
By the way, we discover the US public prices of these LEGO Marvel and DC Comics sets, prices that it is not enough to convert into € using the current exchange rate to obtain the price that will be charged in France. It's more complicated than that...
You can at a pinch consider that the price in € will simply be the equivalent of the US price without conversion (1 € for 1 $) to get an idea.

Forward to the last Toy Fair of the season which takes place in New York from February 13 to 16.

No information on the LEGO stand regarding the collectible minifig series 16 (71013) and minifig series "Disney"(71012), both illustrated by neutral boxes.
Note that the Disney minifig series was presented as consisting of 18 minifigs during the last Toy Fair from Nuremberg, The same reference (on the left in the photo above) is now indicated as consisting of 16 characters in New York ...
While waiting for something better, here is a first series of photos of the LEGO Star Wars novelties expected for next summer uploaded by Justin LaSalata, ToyArk et FBTB including the two sets 75145 Eclipse Fighter et 75147 Star Scavenger based on the new animated series The Freemaker Adventures.

After yet another visual "leak" before the date set for the announcement, LEGO (finally) officially unveils the highly anticipated set 75098 Assault on Hoth.
In this big stamped box Ultimate Collector Series, 2144 pieces, a tauntaun, a Wampa, 14 minifigs and an Astromech Droid, with on arrival probably a big impression of déjà vu for all those who collect the LEGO Star Wars sets and who already have the references 7666 Hoth Rebel Base (2o07), 7749 Echo Base (2009), 8089 Hoth Wampa Cave (2010), 7879 Hoth Echo Base (2011) 75014 Battle of Hoth (2013) et 75138 Hot Attack (2016).
As far as I'm concerned, I find it hard to pin down the side Ultimate Collector Series of this set, which looks more like a best-of of anything LEGO has released on this theme so far. By removing the pretty snowy decor from the box, we end up with a set of elements that everyone can arrange according to their inspiration (Probably the "modular" side announced by LEGO ...) but which struggle to form a "collector" representation. of the Battle of Hoth ...
