New LEGO Store at Forum des Halles: Opening April 6, 2016

LEGO finally communicate on the opening of the next French LEGO Store and this new official 400 m2 store will therefore open its doors on April 6 in the heart of the Forum des Halles in Paris.

Please note, this is only the opening of the store, not the official inauguration with a crowd and gifts which will probably take place (a lot) later in the year.

ON APRIL 6, 2016, LEGO® WILL CELEBRATE PARIS IN ITS FIRST FLAGSHIP STORE IN THE HEART OF THE CAPITAL!

On the occasion of the opening of the LEGO® Store, in the new Canopy space at the Forum des Halles in Paris, LEGO will celebrate the capital and French culture through unique creations, specially designed for the event.

From famous pastries to an iconic fashion designer, a painter and a famous writer, all will, for the first time, be reconstituted into statues of LEGO bricks.

These four XXL constructions, assembled in Europe, will have required thousands of bricks and several hundred hours of work in order to bring magical and unforgettable LEGO moments to life.

The LEGO® Store Paris Les Halles will present all the many ranges, the latest novelties as well as exclusive or limited edition products!

Come and discover this beautiful space dedicated to brickwork, creativity and construction.

In the future Parisian flagship, visitors will be able to discover a fun and artistic animation!
Indeed, it will be possible to have a “portrait shot” in LEGO bricks and instantly receive the photo in your mailbox.
The giant statue of the painter will be equipped with a camera and a screen placed in the center of the easel in order to transform any portrait into a "bricked" portrait.

Ideally located, in the heart of Paris, this flagship will welcome young and old to provide them with a unique LEGO play experience highlighting creative freedom.

The LEGO experts will be present from Monday to Saturday to advise and guide customers to the various LEGO ranges and sets.

On April 5, Parisians and visitors from all over the world will be able to visit this brand new showcase for the brand at the Forum des Halles, below La Canopée.

LEGO will thus introduce generations of enthusiasts to this beautiful space dedicated to bricks, creativity and construction.
