New LEGO 2020: Minions are coming!

We knew that the Minions were arriving in the LEGO catalog and the manufacturer today unveils the five boxes that will accompany the theatrical release in July 2020 of the film. Minions: The Rise of Gru.

The young Gru will be delivered in a single set and the minifigure is not the most successful of this small range of derivative products ... You can, however, have fun collecting the different versions of Kevin, Otto, Bob and Stuart which are distributed in the five sets presented here.

The and 75551 Brick-Built Minions and Their Lair Looks to me like the one that will deliver the most interesting building experience of the bunch with two default buildable figures, Kevin and Stuart, and the ability to transform Kevin's figure to get Bob. The eyes of the characters are movable and the body of each of the figurines conceals a playable space (a lab and a room). Depending on the character, the height of the figurine varies between 12 and 15 cm.

You guessed it with the visuals below, the sets 75546 Minions in Gru's Lab et 75547 Minion Pilot in Training are references stamped 4+.

The sets are listed on the official online store with availability announced for April 27.
