LEGO just announced the result of the second phase of LEGO Ideas evaluation for the year 2023, with a batch that brought together 49 more or less successful ideas but which had all been able to gather the 10.000 supports necessary for their passage to the review stage.
The two projects below are definitively validated and will one day become official products:
|
Concerning the minifig distributor, LEGO specifies that the product will contain some new figurines and that a public vote will be organized to choose the color of a new Classic Spaceman and determine a new Castle faction.
LEGO finally adds that the project Disney Pixar's Luxo Jr Lamp submitted by T0BY1KENOBI25150 remains under evaluation and that its fate will be sealed upon the announcement of the results of the third phase of review 2023 which will take place this summer.
Everything else goes directly and without momentum to the wayside and the creators of these different projects will have to make do with the “consolation” prize made up of LEGO products with a total value of $500 offered to all those who reach 10.000 supporters. For some of them, in my opinion, it is already well paid.
While waiting to find out more about these two products which will soon join the LEGO Ideas range, you can always try to guess who will emerge victorious from the next review phase which brings together 42 ideas and the result of which will be revealed this summer:
The five finalist projects of the fourth wave (Series 4) of the reboot of Bricklink Designer Program, were selected from more than 230 proposals in the running following the vote launched last February.
As with each wave, you will have to show a lot of patience if some of these products interest you: the pre-order phase for these five products will not begin before February 2025 and the sets which collect at least 3000 pre-orders will be produced. in 30.000 copies and will be available in July 2025. No reissue planned, two sets maximum per household and per reference.
In the meantime, the creators of these different projects will have plenty of time to rework them to make them comply with LEGO requirements, Bricklink indicating that this adaptation phase will last between April 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
