LEGO takes back control today and "officially" unveils the six new boxes of the Harry Potter range which will be available for pre-order from April 30 on the official online store with effective availability announced for June 1. No blurry micro-visuals or short pixelated video footage, the manufacturer is providing a full set of high-resolution images to accompany this ad.
Anyone who set out to assemble the ultimate Hogwarts modular playset using the sets 75953 Hogwarts Whomping Willow, 75954 Hogwarts Great Hall et 75948 Hogwarts Clocktower already marketed will be happy to be able to further develop the overall model by integrating the new reference 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower and possibly adding the small module of the set 75966 Hogwarts Room of Requirement.
|
The and 75966 Hogwarts Room of Requirement (193 pieces - 19.99 €) offers a compact reproduction of the Room On Request as it appears in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with a movable panel that reveals the entrance. It allows you to obtain the minifigs of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger & Luna Lovegood, Hermione and Luna being accompanied by their respective Patronus (an otter and a hare). We will also assemble a Mechanical Death Eater.
The and 75967 Forbidden Forest: Umbridge's Encounter (253 pieces - 29.99 €) reproduces the meeting between Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Dolores Umbridge with Graup and the centaurs of the Forbidden Forest, a scene seen in the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. We will assemble a tree with integrated hiding place and a large figurine of Graup, the half-brother of Rubeus Hagrid. This box allows us to obtain Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Dolores Umbridge (Dolores Umbridge) and two Centaurs.
The and 75968 4 Privet Drive (797 pieces - 74.99 €) reproduces, as the title of the set indicates, the house of the Dursley family, here delivered with a copy of the Ford Anglia identical to the version seen in the set 75953 Hogwarts Whomping Willow. This box allows you to obtain six minifigs: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Dudley Dursley, Vernon Dursley, Petunia Dursley & Dobby. In the box, we will also find a copy of the new figurine of Hedwig with his wings spread seen in the polybag 30420 Harry Potter & Hedwig and also delivered in sets 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower, 75979 Hedwig et 75980 Attack on The Burrow.
The and 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower (971 pieces - 109.99 €) is a new expansion of Hogwarts to combine with the references 75953 Hogwarts Whomping Willow, 75954 Hogwarts Great Hall et 75948 Hogwarts Clocktower already marketed. The construction culminates at 40 cm in height and in this LEGO box delivers 8 minifigs: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy (Draco Malfoy), Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom (Neville Longbottom), Horace Slughorn and Lavender Brown (Lavender) Brown).
The and 75979 Hedwig (630 pieces - 49.99 €) offers a sculpture of the white owl offered to Harry by Rubeus Hagrid for his eleven years. The construction with a wingspan of 35 cm by 17 cm high takes place on a nice presentation base and it is accompanied by a second display which features Harry Potter in Gryffindor house attire and the Hedwig figurine who will also be present in the sets 75968 4 Privet Drive, 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower, 75980 Attack on The Burrow and in the polybag 30420 Harry Potter & Hedwig. Note the crank that moves the wings.
The and 75980 Attack on The Burrow (1047 pieces - 109.99 €) reproduces the scene seen in the film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in which Bellatrix Lestrange and Fenrir Greyback attack the home of the Weasley family (the Burrow) and burn it down. This box allows you to obtain 8 minifigs: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Arthur & Molly Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, Bellatrix Lestrange and the werewolf Fenrir Greyback.
As you will have noted, LEGO is not communicating for the moment on the second series of 16 LEGO Harry Potter characters in collectable bags (ref. LEGO 71028) scheduled for the next school year. Thanks to a visual of the bag available for a few weeks already, we currently know 9 of the 16 characters planned: Pomona Sprout (Pomona Sprout) with a mandrake, Luna Lovegood with her lion hat, Albus Dumbledore with Fawkes, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Neville Longbottom (Neville Longbottom) with The Monstrous Book of Monsters, Bellatrix Lestrange with her identification from Azkaban Prison, Harry Potter with the Half-Blood Prince's Book of Potions, Moaning Myrtle (Mimi Whine) and Griphook (Gripsec).
We are also talking about a big box Direct To Consumer (D2C) which would be an expanded version of Diagon Alley in the spirit of the 10217 Diagon Alley set released in 2011. Nothing has been confirmed yet.
