New Animated Series - LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales

Want LEGO Star Wars in all the flavors? Disney is here for that. A new, 22-minute, five-episode animated series is in the pipeline: LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales will tell the Star Wars saga from the perspective of the two most famous droids in the universe, C-3PO and R2-D2.

The pitch is still a bit confused but the general idea is as follows: After the Battle of Endor and the victory of the Rebel Alliance, the two droids, kidnapped by mistake, come back to the events that led to the conclusion of the existing saga since Episode I The Phantom Menace until Episode VI Return of the Jedi.

The US broadcast will take place on the Disney XD channel and not much else is known about this LEGO version of the Star Wars saga at this time.

You will understand, I especially hope that we will be entitled to a nice Blu-ray / DVD box set of the complete thing accompanied by an exclusive and unpublished minifigure ...
