Patience is often rewarded and all those who have so far refused to spend more than a hundred euros to afford the LEGO Star Wars polybag 75522 Mini Droid Commander on the secondary market will soon have the possibility of obtaining it for much less: This bag will be added by LEGO among the rewards of the VIP program as of April 19, 2020.
Please note, you will still have to use a certain number of points to unlock this reward and obtain the precious code that will allow it to be added to the basket when placing an order. It remains to be hoped that the number of points requested by LEGO will be reasonable and that the stock of bags is large enough so that the offer does not run out in a few minutes.
We will remember that in July 2019 you had to use 1000 VIP points (and therefore have spent at least 150 € on the LEGO Shop) to obtain the key ring initially offered when purchasing the set. LEGO Creator Expert 10265 Ford Mustang or 500 VIP points (€ 66 purchase) to unlock the exclusive "iconic" bag bearing the reference 40178. For reference, I remind you that the VIP program now lets get 750 points for every 100 € of purchase.
I also recall that this 62-piece polybag was offered by LEGO for a few days in September 2019 for the purchase of the LEGO Star Wars set. 75253 Boost Droid Commander (219.99 €). Since then, resellers have been having a blast on the secondary market with incredible prices.
