Following the previously announced Marvel and The LEGO Batman Movie references, LEGO today unveils two new sets from the BrickHeadz range of buildable and collectable minifigures: 41595 Beautiful et 41596 Beast.
As the official description of these products indicates, they are the two main characters of the Beauty and the Beast cartoon, which since its release in 1991 has become a must-have classic for many fans:
This beautiful BrickHeadz set featuring Belle is fun to build using colorful LEGO System bricks that recreate all of her iconic details from the classic Disney animation Beauty and the Beast, including buildable flowing hair with a ribbon and earrings and a buildable rose in hand. |
This BrickHeadz set featuring Beast is fun to build using colorful LEGO System bricks that recreate all of his iconic details, including decorated waistcoat outfit and buildable mane and horns, as seen in the classic Disney animation Beauty and the Beast. |
Even if LEGO obviously benefits from the release next March of the new "live" adaptation of this cult cartoon, it is therefore not plastic versions of Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, the two main characters of the film. .
Regarding Beast, it is not a hamster in disguise either.
If the costumes are faithful to those of the cartoon from which they are inspired, I still find that with these two new references the LEGO BrickHeadz concept is already showing its limits ...
These two sets therefore join the other eight boxes of series 1 already announced. If sales follow, LEGO will likely exploit the concept to the hilt.
Availability announced for March 1, with early sale from February 15, 2017 for members of the VIP program. Public price 9.99 €. On sale only on the Shop @Home and in the LEGO Stores.
